NOTE: there is one massage stroke here that is exceptionally difficult (see class #4). It will feel odd and requires practice. If it’s too difficult for you, skip it until you’ve drilled the movement and then come back to the routine.

In this position the head is rotated to the side, with one side of the neck stretched and the other compressed.
For neck and shoulders lying face down like this is the worst position:
- It seriously limits your techniques
- Face up works better
- Seated upright is the best position (read more)
